Norseman West Australia. To Port Lincoln south Australia

From the 25th August at Norseman WA.
To Port Lincoln SA - 1st September.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The starting of our next adventure along the Nullarbor to South Australia
As we started our way. There were a lot of road train trucks.
Coming and going as we found out there are a few Mines
along this part of the Nullarbor.
Here is a look at part of the road they also call the.
Gun - Barrel as it is the longest stretch of  strait road in Australia
Witch is 146.ks  or 90.miles long.
But it still has some spring flowers on the side of the road.
Then next the road changes to flat empty lakes.
With a train track running through it.
They love putting up signs up to look out for the wild life.
Well I sat with my camera in hand for miles and miles.
Then all of a sudden Pat pulled up quick to see some Camels
just of the side of the road. Now that was great.
Next we saw this Flying Doctor sign.
 Witch shows two lots of white landing marks on the road.
The Flying Doctors land on the road when some one has been hurt or very ill.
 The side poles are left loos so they can be taken out while the plain lands.
This photo I took at morning sun rise at our free camp
on the Nullarbor
Our next free camp we had fun as we found a nice spot.
but next we were being bomb bombarded by bees.
They were even coming in the van so we had to quickly move to a new spot.
But we were not the only ones. we all had a laugh after.
This is a great place to see. So many vans were coming in to this
small parking space to see the Great Australian Bite.
I did not walk to the cliff place as it was a good walk.
So stayed back near the van.
But when I down loaded the photo I said to Pat oh wow they are so lovely.
One side of the cliffs and then the other.
We drove a bit further on to go see some more cliffs.
We were not disappointed.
We went into this small garage at the end of the Gun - barrel road.
Well Pat went to see how much his fuel was.
But cam back to say the robbing ? Just as Arnold said.
He wants $1.99.a liter so not going to get any her.
  We went up the road a bit to stop for a break and to have lunch.
I made us some lunch while Pat used his spare full fuel tanks.
We are veering of the main road to Port Auguster.
To make our way down to Port Lincoln.
We stayed at a caravan park in Elliston.
 A very small town but looks so clean.
Venus Bay
Next was a place called Venus Bay.
We drove around to have a look and found a look out place.
It seemed a nice place.
We went over to a small snake shop.
As we wanted to treat our self and buy lunch.
But Pat called out quick give me your camera.
 As I look there was an emu running around.
We were told they are a few running around and they are wild.
On the way back to the car a dog can running out of his garden.
 To chase after the emu of.
 But I think the emu enjoyed the run.
                                                                      Streaky Bay
When in to have a look  at Streaky Bay.
Seemed a nice place they do a lot of fishing here.
 They say mostly crab and Lobster.
Next we were just driving along and Pat resided to go site seeing up a steep hill pulling the van.
But we made it ok.
 But it was so worth it as the view was great.
It is called Cummings look out.
I went so far but was to rough for me so stayed back while
 Pat did the walks to the top of the hill.
There was some young men there thinking of
climbing down the cliff to go surfing.
Going back down was just as bad as going up.
We were on our way again when we see a lot of poor dead lizards along the road.
So next time when we saw one Shingle Back Lizard
trying to cross  the road so Pat pulled up.
Took some photos of him.
Then help him cross the road witch he did not like being hurried up .
So he or she turned his head and opened his mouth to tell Pat of.
But Pat manged to get him in the scrub.
Pat said to him to stay put or your be the next flat one on the road.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

We went to have a quick look at some large rocks.
Called Murfheys Hay stakes.
All funny shapes and there are a few of them.

We are at a caravan park in Port Lincoln.
We have a lovely view from our van.

Pat is busy doing his cleaning.
He is a good van cleaner.

Morning sun rise from the van door.
So good to still be getting some sunshine.

Went for a ride to Port Lincoln Look out.

Mind you we did get a bit lost doing so.

But we finely found it.
 Just go to the highest point I say.

After this Pat wanted to go have a look at a small boat museum.

We went in to have a look see .
But could not help my self from being a silly bugger for once.

Help

A great race horse  ( Makybe Diva.)

Yes we are cold .
But I brought my jacket
 Aunt I a cleaver girl.

After leaving the town as we have had a good look around.
