15th July to 18th July - Bourke to Yass and Home
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~`
The Blog is only a small one
as the weather has turned very cold.
So we did not venture out to much to see any historical sites and things
was to cold for us.
15th July - Leaving the caravan Park at Bourke
The sun has come out now we are leaving but still very cold
We drove through the small towns as the rain did not stop.
We arrived at Dubbo by 3.pm raining.
Next day we went into Dubbo town as I wanted to do some shopping and
buy some Tracksuit Pants.
Have to keep warm. Yes I forgot to pack mine.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Left Dubbo on the 17th July and was going to stay at Orange
But as we were getting closer we could see it had been snowing there.
Looked great to see but to cold to stay for us.
listening to the radio they said it is 2.deg at the moment.
On the way out of town we saw some
teenagers having so some fun making a snow ball.
So Pat said we will keep going it was still early morning
So made our way to Yass . Well the sun was shining
But by the time night fall it was freezing cold so our heater did not stop.
Next morning it was white with frost out side and all the water hoses out side had frozen
so had a job rolling them up to pack away.
.So glad we did not have to unhook the van the night before.
It meant pat did not have to spend to much time in the cold
even with his gloves on he said so cold.
But soon had the car heater going. I set Tom-Tom for home .
We do now the way but I like to use it for time speed and all that stuff.
Any way we arrived home at 1.30.pm
Rick was waiting out the front for us and Bundy barking like mad.
