Arrived in Fremantle on the 11th Aug- Till 14th Aug.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
On the next day being the 12th August. We drove into Fremantle Pier.
After loosing our way even with Tom-Tom. It was some fisherman that told
us to follow the sea road all the way then you will see the docks
We finely found the Pier and park the car to go see the
Navel Maritime Museum
It was so lovely inside as it is all new.
We stood and looking at the lay out of the Docks.
Were we would have docked at for the day so long ago
One of the helpers took a photo of Pat and I.with I thought was great.
We had a look look around so mush to see.
To see they have put such large Boats and Yachts inside
but we had great fun having a look and touch our.
( 1983 America's Cup. Australia II yacht )
I so enjoyed that as Pat and I love watching these races.
I just had to have a photo taken touching that winged keel.
They even have two boxing Kangaroos standing looking down on her.
This next part is worth a read.
I have marked a white star on the roof were his sea anchor was behind him.
Helping to slow him down.
They have even put a Pear lugger in here.
Just some models of Ships to see.
must say this is the first and hope the last time I see a Missile
One of the air type and one from a Sub.
Two photos of the work they are doing on this Submarine
You can take a tour if you wanted to.
Both Pat and I said don't think we would like to be that closed in.
At last we went to have a walk along the Pier
and think of memory's.
they have put these Statues of two children landing in a strange country
I thought it was great .
Just one more photo of the pier then say goodbye.
It has been 65 years. so long ago.
I would loved to have told our Mums and Dads of this.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
After leaving the Pier we drove just up a few streets to another Museum.
All on old Shipwrecks
this is another good one to read if you like this sort of thing.
Just tells you some history on this ship.
A Model of her.
So love seeing an old sailing ships that has been save from the sea.
So we can see them..

You can just see Don in his red jacket talking to Pat.
Thanks Jan and Don for a great day.
Even old Maggie tried to join in so Don fed him a chip.
just a few flowers from the Kings park.

Going home on the freeway we could see that the railway runs down
the middle of the freeway road.
you can see the Train station .
Both pat and I think it is great idea
