19th July to 26th July Barn Hill

19th July Leaving Broome to 26th July at Port Hedland

After Leaving Broome.
We made our way to Barn Hill.

It is a Caravan site about 40 mins in on very red dusty road.
Ronnie is opening the gate for our two vans.

When we got there we had to go find a spot to park.

We fond one but could not get one very close to Ronnie and Arnold s Van.
But we still just walk back and forth to each other.

The look out from the front view you could see some of the sea witch looked great.
But the side view.  From the van was a bit different.
As you can see the shower Toilet bloke.

All open at the top so plenty of sunshine on you in the shower.
As for the loo. Well no need to have a fan or air vents.

The hot water is a lot of black pipes cured up in the full sun to get hot.
So best time for a shower is 3.pm in the afternoon.

The view from the top of the cliff is great.

Pat went for a walk and loved the small flowers growing along the path way.

As I could not walk down to the beach.  The pathway was
to steep and no room for my walker to go.

So Pat was told that their are steps down to the beach.
So we went to see.

Well I had a go at slowly walking down the steps.
With Pats help and made my way to the sea to have a leased one paddle.
But I did it.
I was standing there Buggered but happy.

But it took me longer to go up the steps. But I was so happy it sit at the top and rest.

The Sunday befor we were due to leave Bar Hill.
We went down the hill to have a 3 course dinner at the lower camp were they have the store.
you pay $18. dollars each

They gave us a soup first then a roast beef dinner
followed by fruit with ice cream.
witch we all enjoyed.

Later in the evening they had an Aboriginal band witch was very good.
Rose was missing for a while.
But we all found out what she was up to.
As the band started to singing  Happy Birthday  for Ronnie

With this Rose walk out with a cake. To give  her sister.
Ronnie was so surprised.

We all got together on Ronnie's Birthday 2 days later.
With a drink and goodies and had a good old talk.

We have left Bar Hill and at a free camp site.

Heading to Port Hedland.
This part of my Blog is sad for us. As if you look at the Map just down from Port Hedland.
The highway divides in to two.
Ronnie and Arnold have taken the inland rout as there are parts of this they wish to see gain.
As Pat and my self have decided to carry on down the coast road.
As we wish to see this part of Western Australia.
So I have put in a few photos of our time together and to say
Thank you Ronnie and Arnold
for showing us some great places .With lots of fun and some good laughs.

Good by for now till next Blog.
