June 14th  2015 Our Holiday in Townsville with the family 

We only have few days left as we leave here on the 23rd June  

The time go’s so fast but Pat and I are enjoying it all and our 

Grandchildren Caitlin and Lachlan keeps us our toes.

  As they are always on the go.  Also the things they say and do

 leaves us having a laugh.

I went with Christine to pick Caitlin up from her school . 

Just  love  the school and being built on big stumps.

 gives the children so much 

shade to play in and must say it was very clean.

Yea  said Caitlin and Lachlan we are finely at the museum  

In this photo it is all about a Ship called Pandora

Next day we went shopping them after this we took the children to a  

Mini Golf course were we had all had fun.

 I just followed them around taking photo’s

We went to watch our grandchildren have there swimming lessons 

Lachlan with his teacher

they are going really good. 

Caitlin is Learning to swim on her back and is very good

Next day we all went to the Strand were they 

 have built a great walkway alone some of  the coast line and has great views to see 

 It is all connect to the main beach front at the Strand  

They call them small pictures of the past.  

At the end of the board walk they have built a few Aboriginals  items for people to see. 

We are sitting in an fish trap that the Aboriginals

 used years ago to catch Barramundi 

They would make this shape so as when the tide went out the fish

 would be caught in the pound  

 Adam is standing in front of a moon rock they carved out

After our walk we all went along to the  

  Rock swimming pool so as the children can have a run around 

 But the Grandchildren found the Flying fox so of they run to have a ride 

Lachlan having a ride on the flying fox  

 Then Caitlin‘s  turn  

Then Adam’s time to try it out.

We also went for a ride up to the top of Mt Stuart

 witch was great view even though it was cloudy  

You can just see the shape of Magnetic Island way in the back behind Mount Castle.

Then all back to our van to cook some dinner

2nd June 2015  leaving Bribie island

Our last day with Bradley before we leave to head up to Townsville.

To see  Adam Christine and grandchildren Caitlin and Lachlan

 We went over to Bradley's  place to spend the day with him. 

He was helping Janice who is Alison’s daughter as she is moving next week. 

 So we sat and watched them work .

 Also I was having some fun with the children .

Harmony and Chelsea  they were showing me how to make elastic bracelets 

Mason  was happy sitting on Pats knee. 

So it turned out to be a lovely day when it came time to say good by

 the girls did not want us to go . but promise to talk on the phone to them.

Next morning Bradley came over to the van to help his Dad get  the van ready 

So was good to have him for an extra hour. 

He followed us to the highway turn off and we waved goodbye.

Pat stopped so as I could go to the Ginger Factory for me so as 

to get some Ginger peaces love going there. 

We were just coming back out of the entrance door when the small train went passed us. 

Still a lovely place to see.

We drove on till we go to  Calliope for the night at a free camp,

 witch was so full but we found a small spot for us . We left Calliope by 7.30 am next morning so as to get a good run to our next stop. Witch is called the Bowen Palms caravan park. 

We arrived by 4pm   and  left early the next day at 7.30am  5th June.

5th June  Arriving  at Townsville by 10.30am, 

So we had plenty of time to set up our camp .

 Then  wait for our Adam Christine and our G-Children .to come over to see us .

So I sat waiting on my walker at the top of the pathway.

 as we have not seen them for a year .  

But when they arrived and having our hello’s Hugs and kisses . 

Caitlin went into the van waked around touching things and said .

oh Nanny it is all just the same as last time .

Next day we went to Adam’s place to give 

Caitlin and Lachlan all there goodies we have for them 

Lachlan  loved sitting next to his Granddad to play with the toys. 

Then Caitlin sat to read two of the book’s to Granddad we had just  given her

Lachlan loved his  car books and is showing them to his Mummy. 

Caitlin loved telling me all about her school .

Monday 8th June 

Just thought you would like to see how a lot of the shopping centuries have shaded  

Covers for the cars from the hot sun. 

We reckon they should do this in all of the shopping parking spaces.

While waiting for our little family to come and spend the day with us .

 I took a photo’s of our camp posse

The old  Poinciana tree gives great shade 

we stayed in this same spot last year as we like it here.

I went with Christine to watch the Grandchildren having fun with there 

Mum on the bounce bubble 

But do love the next shot with Lachlan flying high.

Caitlin and Lachlan did not stop running around all day

 and making so many friends in the park. 

 So by time they had had there dinner Lachlan was falling asleep. 

It was a great day for all and still more to come.

 Just love it

Queensland - Thursday   28th May  Bradley’s B-Day 

Pat and I went over to Brad’s and Alison as we are taking Bradley  out for the day. 

After doing some Birthday  shopping  we went and  had some lunch at Subways witch we enjoyed. 

 We went and did some more shopping then went  back to see
 Alison’s Daughter Janis and to see the  children. 

As soon as we pulled into the driveway a little girl came running out  calling out.
  My Bradley is home and climbed all over him she looked at us and Brad told her who we were she  frowned saying no he is my Bradley. 

After a while s of talking to her little Mikayla was ok share her Bradley 

Alison with her grandson  Mason

We had a nice afternoon just talking and watching the children 

Young Harmony had come home from kinder to join in the  fun

 even the baby Mason loves our Bradley 

In the evening the four of us went out to the Hogs Breath for Dinner .

It was a great meal . then time for the oldies to  say good night till tomorrow.

Friday 29th May 

 Bradley and Alison took us out  for a ride along the coast from Caboolture turn off to Redcliff .

Some lovely spots along this coast line .

Then in the afternoon we sat and talked till time to go back to or van.

 May 30th Saturday 

 Bradley and Alison came over to the van and enjoyed just talking

Sunday 31st May

We all went fishing just across the road it was a lovely day and enjoyed ourselves.

Alison caught a whiting  but put it back. 

 Pat and Bradley Caught fish but to small to keep 

I caught a blue swimmer Crab and it caught Bradley on the hand as well. 

But once the tide had gone out. 

We went back to the van for lunch. and more talking

May 2015   Time to go on a holiday 

It is the  22nd May 2015. We are all ready to go see our families up in Queensland.

Fist of all we will be meeting up with our old friends at Toowoona  Bay.

 A  holiday  town called  The Entrance.  The other side of Sydney. 

We stayed two night and did not stop talking.

 Having our Coffee a Doughnuts  

We will be leaving there on the 24th May

As you can see it was not the time to paddle our toes.

Saying our goodbyes.   Time go’s so fast but we had fun

On the road again

We stopped at Kempsey for lunch having a lovely Pork Pie. 

 We decided to stay at  Coffs Harbour Caravan Park for the night. 

We think it has gotten a bit warmer just by a couple of degrees. 

Next morning we were getting ready to go when I heard a  load bang and hot water was running over the floor and strait to our carpet between the beds 

so fast.  I was trying to stop it  throwing all my towels down  but

I did not have any hope of stopping it so calling for pat to turn the water taps off. 

After mopping up what we could we had to leave .

So we are now at another park  trying to dry things out.

  But must say it has put us both in a downer.

 It is a very nice place to stop at Mullumbimby Rugby league Club

 Spent the day drying out the carpet best we can. 

 and keeping our finger crossed we find out were it is leaking. 

Arrived at Bribie Island Caravan Park and Pat got strait in to it and we found the weak it was a blown hot water tap connection pat said it looked like there was a stress fracture. Any way he managed to get a new one so all is well again .

Our  Bradley and Alison came over after work with big Hugs all around they stayed 

 for Dinner. So all is ok again . So till next time
